Hey i recently installed my new copy of Diablo 2 and after updating to latest patch and tried logging in to bnet, i get this message : Your Cd Key is currently being used by "My Username"

Tried restarting router/game/pc uninstalled reinstalled cleared key registry and changed ip/dns so far nothing worked.

Also contacted support with a ticket, they responded i should wait for 24hours but it's been 2 days and still nothing.

Any help? Thanks in advance.

when I get this problem I kill Diablo II.exe/Game.exe process at task manager
coz sometimes however it doesn't close correctly

Hey thanks for suggestion, tried that too didn't help

you need to do it immediately。that's the last moment where the client has a chance
to disconnect from the server。if you miss it (by restarting your computer for example),
you need to wait until the server kicks your account offline (time: unknown)。

edit: on ladder-reset day, every account will be kicked offline。sooo you should be able to use your
cd-key then at the latest~

Ok thanks, at least i will be able to play the day it resets because blizzard support is terrible.

I'll just wait.

I had this happen, delete everything and do a completely fresh reinstall.
Should work normally again after that.

Otherwise it could be an issue with the actual CD Keys themselves.

Yeah tried this twice with no luck, i also think the cd keys are bugged themselves too.

Maybe try installing classic only. Can't hurt anything.

Oh shiet, this worked at least i can login on classic!

Still no LOD though
