Not sure how to feel about this. With a move like this, there's a huge risk of unintended side effects and collateral damage, it could even backfire directly on Trump.

I generally agree with the notion that the social media giants are abusing their position of power over the public discourse and deserve to lose some of the privileges they were given under the condition that they act as a neutral platform. But this step is playing with fire and requires thinking this through carefully and thoroughly. Which Trump and his stooges definitely didnt do. So yeah, I'm sceptical.
