Just rumors. Unfortunately, if the rumors are true (which I doubt), it likely will be LOD only. If you weren't aware, the source code for D2 was fatally corrupted. Thus, if Blizzard wanted to remaster D2, they would have to completely rebuild it from the ground up. With that in mind, I seriously doubt they will take extra effort in include an option for classic.

Considering what they just did to warcraft. Let's hope they never remaster d2. if that's going to be the new model of draconian policies that blizzard operates by, I say to hell with Activision, I wont financially support anything they are involved in

There's that angle of it too. Considering how badly they screwed Warcraft 3 up, imagine how bad a D2 built from scratch could be.
