Do I have to use the weapon to get the benefits of the armor attack and str?
I'm trying to find out how to do more dmg

right now using
dragon scimitar or abyssal whip
amulet of glory
rune or d'hide
combat bracelet
rune boots
warrior ring

max hit is like 22 and it seems if i spend several million on gear it could be a whole 2 hitpoints higher
but an attack bonus would make obsidian armor worth while i think.

Or i can can use abyssal bludgeon and get a max hit 4 points higher with no shield

Obby armor, obby sword, defender, d boots, fire cape, berserker ring, and fire cape for lower level training.

Maybe even throw in a berserker necklace for the mad hits? Or is that only good for nmz against low def monsters?

What stats do I need to get fire cape

I got 73 ranged and 60 prayer
74 attack
78 str

74 mage

looks difficult to obtain with current ranged damage

depends how comfortable you are with caves. Some people need 90+ range, others are fine with 50 and and msb

I'd get at least 75 ranged for the blowpipe and maybe a bit higher pray aswell to get the most out of your time/pots.

Yeah, the b necklace -20 really seems to make the fire cape needed, 27 max damage though I'm wasting my time without it

I use heads at the dark alter to level prayer so I was putting off on getting to 70 which seems doable in one sitting

What ammo do I use with the blowpipe?

The bneck synergises with the obby set/sword so the -20 isnt too heavy of a hit, but having the firecape sure helps along well.

For the bp when doing the cape attempt, I'd use at least addy darts during all waves and if you got expendable funds then maybe even dragon darts for the jad fight itself.

Use addy darts throughout the cave. Rune doesn't feel much better tbh and dragon just for Jad isn't really necessary. You might do more damage but you're mainly focusing on surviving his attacks and pray swapping.
