It iis always ppossible to get hacked by using runelite
Imagine some evil pro l33t hackers attack their website... The inject their keyloggered client as download file, and it is on runelite.net... Nobody finds out about it till 50000 runelite users lose their banks... Hackers even know how to break through authenticator and bank pin.
Or might even inject some evil creation into every installed runelite on users computers with some malware/keylogger.
Even though it is open source you never know...

RuneLite is really crap stuff, it might be helpful but it is cheating.
Real runescape players use default jagex old school client
