I had an idea to kill diablo in hell with all 5 classic characters, in singleplayer HC.
I managed to do so with sorc, pala, barb and necro so far (haven't actually died yet) and ofc I saved the hardest for last, so up next is amazon...

I'm not sure how to approach the amazon playthrough. I'm not muling items between singleplayer characters, so she's gonna have to stick with whatever she finds.
I guess javazon is the way to go, and if I'm really lucky with gear I might respec to bowazon in hell to deal with immunes?

Play exploding arrow until nm duriel, have 1 into ice arrow for grand visier of chaos in normal

Then restat to java zon @ duriel. Max fury and charged strike first, then put remaining points to plague javalin

I recommend skipping pierce because you need every extra point for plague. Also skip valk and dodge skills. I recommend only getting 1 into decoy and slow missiles as these 2 skills can save your life

After plague put reminder into synergy

wouldn't valk be very useful in HC for some crowd control? to just throw a valk out when apporaching a pack to get all the mobs close and not hitting you

The problem with Valk is you can't throw them out mindlessly because of the long cooldown which also prevents using plague javelin. Still worth 1 point imo but decoy works better for what you are suggesting.

if I stick with this build, do you think it's best to max poison or light first? or both simultaneously?

With that build I think youd want to max poison first but I also dont think its written for a walkthrough, but let us know how it works out, I'd be willing to give it a shot if I had time, currently working on a melee zealer walk through which had been hellish

yep I think that's the plan, I'm gonna focus on posion to start with. Will be kind of annoying to not have a decent singletarget-attack though, we'll see
lvl 23 so far and the posion does decent damage

btw anyone knows where's the highest chance to get a twitchthroe? would normal cows be an option?

I cleared with: max poisons, lf and pierce only ( enough to get 75); then use your dodges and valk. If you have good Pierce and lf you can kill all light non-immune when gathered around your valk. Then keep them all poisoned. It’s slow, but works. Also wear gtoes, put on Angies and jab bosses while valk fights.

in a3 nightmare now, things are pretty smooth so far. very unlucky with drops though - no IAS at all i really want that twitch to drop...
