When you put an item in a well on your phone it opens the fishing menu, between this and your invent you can not see the monster that spawned.

When that happens, I attack the part of the monster which I can see below the fishing window and while auto attack does its job, I close it. This way, atleast on Firefox, it works.

I do too some smaller monsters I cant see at all, I use chrome on a note 8.

Opening chat box extends window and stops me seeing my health bar or leaving catacombs.
Will be playing on phone a lot, will just dump anything i notice here.

Use firefox for phone clicky to avoid this problem, works perfectly !

drop item into well, then close those windows quick and attack. same thing happens on my phone its annoying. sometimes fishing thing pops up, just close that also

Do you throw it in with the Inventory tab open? On my phone, if I switch over to the equipment tab, it takes up far less space, so I can throw the item in the well, start attacking, then close the tabs
