That's a solid tactic.

I stopped in the middle of an explore climb last night, and so far, I found 4 lvl 55s at levels 58, 59, 62, and 65, all from EPs

So what are you really after while farming level 55 items?

#1 EPs that drop 55s with mods on them or;
#2 Normal / Chests that drop WHITE welling items for more chances from sidedrops?

I would think you would combine a number of things from Events & Maps to aid you here.

#1 Monster Difficulty would be more of "White" farming while exploring "Maps" with the same mod (a lot more dangerous as they stack up) Note: this is not Monster BASE difficulty!
#2 +X amount of EPs from Maps in conjunction with both "X% EP & Monster Difficulty and maybe Monster Base Difficulty" Events.

EDIT: this would also combine with this Event that gives you a +X # to Item Stat

I'm just death farming at 60 atm, making steady fg while I wait for that 300 ee drop.

Nice to see. My post was basically use this time to do this with level 55 Maps that have both +X EPs and also have "Monster Difficulty" in the chances of gaining more "White" items to well later on and also the off chance you get your best drop from the EPs.

Just did a test doing maps during this event. Map was only +20 TC's, nothing else Twice starting @ level 30 and was 46 without completing the last one.

Not sure how many waves of EPs, but I only kept a record of 3 in particular:

Tier IX @ level 30
Tier XII @ level 42
Tier XII @ level 45

Since I was exploring a Map and not a normal catacomb, it seems you have a better chance of getting same tier drop as character level. Sorry for the small sample size.

EDIT: was not in a TD before using map, however it is done, I don't know.

When we had 20% item stat and 2% quality nearly every well was dropping me items 2 tiers above what i put in, i liked that a lot.

Nice, use to get that welling when events were not running, but glad to see that X% Item Stat & X% quality improves the drop rate of them.
