Option 1 doesn't seem all that crazy to me, but it's also a bit of overkill for such a feature. People would probably start using this new URL quite often, which could have an impact on how the DB needs to be indexed.
Option 2 is probably out of the question since it opens the door to a lot of unnecessary DB calls.
Since when did you script jsp lol. The userdata is being fetched from the db already to make it possible to notify the user.
Anyway vote yes or no if you like the feature. Paul will decide if it’s gonna have negative effects for the serverside. We don’t have to think about that.
