It's a decent point imo tho. I played the first one and i beat it in like 3 days. Meanwhile i spent a fuck ton of hours on Skyrim and Fallout and it took me months to complete them.

I don't think completion is a good metric for quality for short titles.

I don't know. If a movies bad dispite it's length I just stop watching, even if it's rented.

Now if I went to the movies I'd sit through it because of the additional effort to go to the movie theater I guess.

Perhaps the cost drives people to complete a bad game compared to not finishing a rented movie. Unsure.

Anecdotally , D3 for instance, I hated that game right off the bat and tossed it to the bin, 65 bucks down the drain.
