My buddy wants to buy a gaming laptop to play Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord. I don't know if that's possible but maybe 750-1k and he can run it?

Your in this section for years you'd think after so long you'd be capable of googling system specs and comparing laptops.

He might get lucky with craigslist or e.bay I bought a gaming laptop off craigslist for 400 with a 1050 in it like 2 years ago.

I told him Hardware swap or heatware. There's not much hope for a 500$ laptop. I googled an article for him regarding laptops in that price range.

Oh I told him but not everybody has a large budget.

If he doesn't have budget do one of two things
1) Build a desktop where you can start small and upgrade later on
2) Save up until he has enough to spend on a half decent laptop.

He wants to game at work.
