April Fools? I'm selling on this take, Klay might lose a step coming back from a major injury and the West is loaded with talent

recently we saw how long it took Hayward and Oladipo to get back into prime form

With Klay back healthy and a top 3 pick in this loaded draft I could see the Warriors having enough fire power next season to make some noise. Paschall is a nice piece, the warriors seems to have a knack for getting solid talent in the second round. If they relegate Wiggins to be the focal point of the second unit with spacers around him I think he could actually shine

Obviously the west is tough but a top 4 seed and conference finals is not out of the question, and with a little bit of luck a return to the finals is certainly possible

Ah, it looks like Steph, Klay, Draymond and coach Kerr are already recruiting Giannis!

I would fully anticipate that top 3 pick + Wiggins + future picks + whatever else it takes to sweeten the pot to be the main framework of a deal that would head to Milwaukee in a blockbuster trade for Giannis. The Warriors have the assets to put together a pretty enticing trade package if Giannis tells the Bucks he's not going to re-sign long term after next season.

Why would Giannis go to the Warriors and tarnish his career like KD did?

KD, who arguably has the best physical tools and skillset that we've ever seen in the NBA, is never going to be respected because he's team hopping and went to a Warriors team coming off a 73 win season. KD is always going to be known as a snake and a mentally fragile bitch who responds to random people getting all caught up in his feelings.

Does Giannis want to go down that same path? We know Giannis and his brother are both mentally soft and easy to trigger (we've seen them react to fans and random shit way too easy). He would never be able to handle the criticism that would rain down on him if he went to the Warriors lmao. The guy needs to stay in his small market because he couldn't handle a big city either.
