3 monitor setup
have 2x asus vg278 at 1080p
and one msi optix mag321cqr at 1440p

up until lastnight I had no problems with my optix running full frames on everything i play/do
now any game gets a max of maybe 45fps, even watching youtube/netflix there is a significant noticeable drop in frames
no drivers were installed/reinstalled until this morning during trouble shooting
dropping resolution does not work
the other 2 monitors are fine running at max frames 1080p

2080 super gpu
3950x cpu
32gb royals

As a troubleshooting step I would unplug the two Asus monitors and see if lighter load on the GPU results in better frame rates on your MSI. Also try changing the cable on the MSI as well.

Have you done any Windows updates recently?

done both, also switched to dvi to see if that does anything. no bueno
no updates for a week ish
also, all 3 monitors flick on and off twice after start up, and after any time after i wake it up from a nap which is new

Bummer, those are not good signs at all. I would be inclined to say it's graphics card related.
