looking for some upgrades to the door speakers and maybe a sub box under the rear seat. who makes good door speaker that are not going to brake the bank? also subs and amp.

try it out with just the door speakers to see if that tickles your fancy

any decent quality brand should do: jl, pioneer, alpine, etc

Skar audio for everything.
Get a shallow mount subwoofer, the SK900.5D (5 channel)
their speakers are decent and cheap as well.
First thing I would suggest is an aftermarket headunit if you don't have one, just that alone can make a big difference to stock.
Just make sure to get an Interface because I'm sure that vehicle has a stock amplifier in it.

this model of silverado does not have the amp in it. non boss system.

ened up going with a boss audio double din cd player. and a boss audio 400 what 4 channel amp for the door speakers.
