Few years back, my girlfriend and I bought 2 of the 'same' computer. I, however, bought a better GPU.

Few weeks back, I upgraded my GPU - and gave the old one to my gf (nvidia gtx geforce 970)

Now, however, she can't run Diablo 3 without constant stuttering and FPS drops.

I've tried fixing it every way I could imagine (her old GPU's gone, so changing back isn't an option).

I'll pay 500 fg to whoever provides us with a solution (if there is one)

What we've tried thus far:
- Changing every setting we could think of - even on potato resolution and everything turned to low, the issues persist.
- Using DDU to delete all previous (and current) GPU drivers to install it once more (Also tried installing an older driver in case there was an issue with the current one)
- Changing monitor
- Running D3 in 32-bit
- + more

None of these proposed solutions has had any effect what-so-ever. None. On high/max settings game can run just fine/perfectly for 5-6 seconds before there's random spikes of stuttering. Same goes for potato settings.
PC works flawlessly on every other game. The stuttering is exclusive to D3.

With Corona keeping us inside and gym's being closed - the new season's timing was amazing.. This ruined it

Older GPU was a Sapphire Radeon R9 280

I DDU 'cleaned' the PC to make sure the new GPU got a clean install.

Correct me if I'm wrong (I'm not a tech geek) - but if there was an issue in regards to that - wouldn't that impact other games as well? Every other game's running fine :O

I'm not a big spec too, but I know some motherboards like only ATI's gpu's not nvidia. try to reinstal the drivers of your motherboard and maybe there is ask what gpu you'll use.

What are her temps like? Something that works for 5-6 seconds then gets wonky... sound like a heat issue.

A SPECCY screenshot of her hardware and temps, would be helpful.
