That part doesn't change anything. Bernie's serious plans got denied by the voters. Biden's vague promises have a higher chance of actually accomplishing something.

it's really simple, but that wont stop people from getting it confused as you can see in this thread.

when people say yes to a public option, but no to bernie, it's basically bernie saying "you like seafood, good, let's go to red lobster right now, and you're paying".

why people can't understand the difference between "i generally support moving in that direction" and "i want to do it now, and im willing to pay for it now" is beyond me. too much bias i guess.

The second the math is for Biden. Bernie should drop out and support him.

i've already debunked that lazy talking point several times. you'd do yourself a lot of good if you listened to noam chomsky on this...

but hey, hacks gonna hack...

you think america will get universal healthcare under biden? public option? is that what you're suggesting?

If the dems get house and super majority in senate maybe. They would be committing political suicide if the didn't do at least a public option in that case. If they don't get the senate Biden can still strengthen the ACA by making a deal with the republicans.

Bernie is just being selfish at this point, there isn't a reasonable path for him to win

I don't mind Bernie staying in because it's not really doing anything positive or negative. No one is paying attention to the primary right now due to the crisis.

exactly no one is paying attention, then what purpose does it serve to continue campaigning when you're dead in the water? he has to win by huge margins in a lot of the remaining states

He has to have a higher margin of victory in the remaining states than he did in Vermont. You're right that his campaign serves zero purpose. I'm just saying that I don't mind it b/c it's not hurting anyone. The moment that it does, he can be called out.

Joe Bidens mouth is the path. Take that as you wish.
