I think this is the forum I used to post in for Excel help. I'm hung up on a really simple issue. I've wrote numerous formulas and indexed a table to bring up images dynamically. Now when the images appear, they have a black box around them. No freaking clue why, and no clue how to get rid of them. This is super annoying and a huge boner kill to my project.

300 FG to anyone that can help me remove these damn boxes. Screenshot attached.

Wherever you're getting your source images (another sheet?)

select one, should have 'shape format' at the top ribbon (or 'picture border')
select that and you can change the borders

I have no outline selected, and I'm still getting this annoying box. No clue why.

Is it possibly the source image or are all your pictures outlined like that?

I've checked both. The source image does not have the outlined box. All of the pictures do this when indexed

Try going under Picture Tools, on the Format tab, in the Adjust group, click Compress Pictures.

I think I have it solved. It had to do with the fact I was indexing the cell and it seemed like there was nothing I could do. My end result is a PDF file and the boxes are gone. Quite strange. Anyhow, a little piece of fg for all of you.

Thanks
