Budget: 1500$
More specific use (what games, what programs): for honor, red dead redemption 2, dungeondraft, photoshop, video editing software, unity, 3ds max
Planned time until purchase: now
Do you need an Operating System?: yeah, ill probably end up paying full price for windows 10 cuz buying them from ebay is sketchy as hell
Do you have any specific preferred components?: yea i want a full atx form factor
Do you need a sound or wireless card?: onboard sound is fine, would prefer wifi so i dont have wires accross the apartment. also want bluetooth so i can use wireless headphones.
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?: probably wont overclock at first, but i would like to have the option in the future.
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?: ill buy those on my own time
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs): 11520 freeport NY

What do you think about this? https://pcpartpicker.com/list/

I thought a 3900x might be overkill, which is why I went back to a 3700x

Switched mobo to Asus TUF WiFi, so I don’t have to buy a network adapter

Thought 32gs of ram might be overkill, so I dropped to 16 and said fuck it might as well make it look pretty with the rgb

Switched from the P1 to the 970 evo for faster RW times

Used the video card that you suggested

Picked the cooler master case for aesthetics and good air flow, despite being pricy for a mid tower

Used the PSU you suggested

Do you think I messed anything up?

Basically you asked for advice, I gave you what I feel is your best bet, then you undo it all.
Why even post here.

Your newest link doesn't work also.

The extra ram/cpu power is cause your doing editing.
The network adapter is 20x better then some shit onboard wifi without an anteena.
You won't notice the difference in speed between the SSd's just cost.
I can't speak on the case, everyone likes different shit visually.

? I looked at what you suggested and kept that in consideration while revising, hence why I compromised on the mobo, switched psu, video card. I’m trying to understand as well, wasn’t trying to offend you or anything lol

I’m sure the mobo does come with antennae for WiFi/bt, but really I don’t know much about network adapters. Is there a reason the asus pci adapter is better than the onboard one? Range, bandwidth, w/e?

Also I have read that the p1 is more used for cheap ssd storage, while the evo was designed with speed in mind. Is there a reason I wouldn’t notice the speed? Considering the price diff there has to be something significant, no?

Uhhh if you really want a 3700X go for it. Gonna take a little longer for work projects.
3600mhz ram will be more beneficial though.
Surprised the other build doesn't have a secondary storage drive. Thats like a must for computers doing workstation type stuff especially video editing where files can be large and take up a lot of space.

this is nice, but isnt this a waste of an x570 board? since its not even taking advantage of the nvme m.2 slots

question.. what should i think when i see reviews like this?

should i accept these reviews as an anomaly, or is this a red flag that should persuade me to look to another mobo?
