6 points is pretty significant. Here's hoping they don't hubris it away like last time.

Yes, if Biden wins the national popular vote by 6%, he'll win handily.

In general, I wouldnt be so sure that Trump will have a huge electoral college advantage again. If Arizona and/or Florida shift to the left by just a few points, his EC edge will evaporate.

Biden goes for the gold, attempts to surpass the prior (D) nominee's # of people he views as 'deplorable and beyond redemption'

at 15% of the US population which was 328.2 million (2019), this is ~49.2 million people deemed 'deplorable and beyond redemption' by a man who pushed the 'three strikes' crime bill which has devastated and permanently separated so many minority families

"Russiagate" was based on a lie, a false document that was paid for by the DNC and Clinton campaign, and even though 90% of what was in the dossier was verifiably false and proven to be so, it was also used as the excuse to get a FISA warrant to spy on the conversations of an American citizen being targeted by the Obama Administration in an attempt to discredit that individual, who was illegally unmasked as well.

That's factually untrue.

The opening of Crossfire Hurricane(into Papadopoulos) wasn't based on any material from Steele. Actually, unless I'm mistaken, none of the initial investigations into the four targets were based on Steele information. The NY field office already had an open investigation into Carter Page for suspicion of being a Russian agent before Steele's reports even arrived at the FBI. He liked to pal around with Russian intelligence officers.

It's true that some of Steele's info was in the FISA warrant for Page, and the renewals were the most egregious error by the FBI. But the guy had already been investigated for being a Russian agent since 2014, so not exactly a great example of an innocent man who got framed by Hillary.

Romney 2012: 47% are irredeemable
Hillary 2016: 23% are irredeemable ("half of Trump's supporters")
Biden 2020: 10-15% are irredeemable

It's almost as if there's a learning curve among these swamp creatures.

It's of course quite the irony to write 50 million Americans off just like that and to then, in the same sentence, talk about uniting people and bringing them together. ^_^

I have to admit, however, that I liked what he said about "people should not allow the protesting to overshadow the purpose of the protest".

Hillary was the shrill woman who had been tarred in the media for decades, so the deplorables comment took off. This minor gaffe by Biden isn't going anywhere, because he's a fundamentally decent and kind person.

I'm looking forward to the town hall debate, if it happens. Biden's humanity vs Trump's sociopathy will be fun to watch.

Dont get me wrong, I dont really disagree with anything Biden said in this video, and I'm not even offended by it. He's probably right about the 10-15% hopeless cases. And I dont think this comment will take off the way it did with Romney and Clinton. Still a big mistake for a politician to talk like that, and the irony is hard to miss. Acknowledging the (imho: ) fact that 10-15% of the country are abominable assholes whose resistance to his agenda and vision has be overcome while at the same time trying to stick to his message of unity and bringing the country back together - that just doesnt make sense if you think about it.

the only thing Biden ever united was a bunch of racists (democrats and neo-cons alike) behind the 'black super-predators' crime bill (which permanently separated tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of minority families). oh he also united some some people for his eulogy for Senator Robert Byrd (D), a man who was in the kkk and filibustered the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Byrd later became known as the (D) 'conscience of the senate'

is it not ironic that Biden gives this 10-15% figure when writing off a certain segment of our population. which racial demographic is about 10-15% of the US population? this guy's views are as see-through as one of those blank transparency sheets used for overhead projectors
