Cool show so far. Am i the only person watching this? I wanted to hate it, cause fuck HBO for the most part.. but holy shit

How can you say fuck HBO? Their shows are exponentially better than any other provider, it's not even close lol.

It's pretty phenomenal, but I'm trying hard to not get my hopes up. After-all, it's a Stephen King adaptation, and he's fucking infamous for shitting the bed when it comes to ending his stories.

Might be great with Ben Mandelshon ! loved him in Bloodline !

Silicon valley, got, watchmen, entourage. Most of their shows have shit endings

I disagree with Watchmen and Entourage was ALWAYS going to have a meh ending lol, it was that type of show. I haven't watched the last season of Silicon Valley yet, so I can't speak to it.

The Sopranos
Deadwood (now with the movie)
Boardwalk Empire
Chernobyl

And that being said, their endings are still exponentially better than any network show ending ever. The whole point of networks is to milk a show until it's gone to ass and then force a bad ending. HBO shows usually leave things up to their creative forces, so at times shows run longer than they should and at others they finish perfectly.

First episode was great but I haven't finished it, waiting until the entire season is available to binge it. Got about another week or so of waiting for the last episodes to come out.

Wise idea. I binged the whole first 8 episodes yesterday and this morning. 2 more and I’m foaming at the mouth for them

Book was awesome, (so was the ending) will watch.


Hyped for the stand too. Though I wish HBO had picked it up.
