just finished S2, overall I rate it a 7.5/10. It's a watchable show as long as sci-fi action is up your alley.
I give them credit for not overdoing the body swap mechanic. It would have been very easy to introduce supposed "twists" to the plot by simply revealing that character X had been in body Y all along. It could have gotten out of control and confusing for the viewer, but they didn't abuse it.
One thing I didn't like is that, at times, the sci-fi aspects felt a bit out of control. They fell into the trap of "making up the rules as they went along" by bending the way technology works to whatever was needed to support the narrative.
Overall the narrative was good. It was just clever enough to keep me on my toes. Thematically, I think that things were underwhelming compared to S1. The universe is built around the themes of life/death/consciousness/ethics etc., but since S1 explored that already, it felt like S2 didn't really have anywhere new to push it. Instead it played on the existing characters and political intrigue aspects, assuming that the audience was already invested in the world enough to care about those relationships.
I'm surprised at how brief they were with the nudity when S1 had been so gratuitous.
