This started as a vision.
A bunch of ideas came together.
There was 112 layers, at the end of the project.
Each part changed as I progressed through the project.
Each little detail, refined from a rough drawing, refined from a visual idea in my mind.

It took two weeks, far too long.
I would like to paint it again using different methods throughout the entire project.

I actually wanted to have a contest, to see how others would render this same picture. To paint it in their own flavor.
But I gotta get good at art before I can do something like that.

Just keep at it, no matter if what you create is good or bad. It's all a process whether you are a professional or not. Progression that you cant see in yourself until way after the fact.
Just keep creating is the best tip.

There was a snake laying poison to the land. The water, the flora, the earth, all dying because of this monster.

He slithers towards what looks like easy prey in the water, struggling fishermen caught in a storm. But alas, it is a larger, even hungrier beast, laying an illusory trap. One of many oil snakes die.

The beginning of the end, for these ravenous creatures?
