They had two healthy goalies to start the game, both got hurt.
He isnt a guy from the stands, he is the zamboni driver and often practices with the team he beat, so he has an understanding of their tendencies.
Yes, it was an abysmally sad performance from the leafs to lose to him, but carolina has a very strong defense to help the goalie out.
