It is a simple machine to those with the knowledge. It is not for me..anyone know how a deli slicer operates or know how to fix them in real life?
I have a couple; one of them power comes on but motor doesn't spin at all -
One of them makes a humming noise (not loud). - Could this be possibly gear issue?
I know you can lube the guiderails/sliders
Should I try lubing the driveshaft? (After removing the blade, the shaft that allows it to spin)
OR is the motor just shot.. Noise is a level 5 from 1-20. So not that bad

do you have the cover on it? there is a safety lock on the top left (well, there was where I used to work.)

could be many things, not really something that can be diagnosed over the internet...
