Anybody here have any experience working on/owning a hellcat charger?

I own my current car outright and they’re offering me 28,000 for the trade in. The cats I’m looking at are ranging 49-55 new

They might be trying to get rid of the 2019 models. And he also didn't say new. What are your concerns on the car?

Tysons Corner, new 2019 fleet models are listed 54 and out the door closer to 50. I’ve found a few used super low mileage chargers hanging around 45.

Mostly misfire/supercharger bearing being shot. I’ve heard of these issues, especially in used models with more mileage.. Kinda why I’m weary about buying a used model.

I've seen a lot of rotor pre-mature wear on the SRT 6 pot brembos. Those things aren't cheap.

I've got 2018 Grand Cherokee TrailHawk, I love it but I've always had a little bit of regret not buying a 392/hellcat.

So this is my thoughts:
If I remember correctly, you said you had inherited a bunch of money or something. If money ain’t an issue, buy what makes you happy. Personally, I’d go red eye over hellcat. Also, I would suggest if you’re gonna go that route, buy lightly used and save some cash. You’re gonna lose a ton of money trading in new cars every few years. I can justify upgrading cars every few years if I buy used, to offset the losses compared to buying new.

Unless you got beaucoup money then fuck it.

Good thought man, yeah we’re doing ok financially. And I like the red eye, but I’d never be able to talk the wife into spending 80 grand on a sports car. Maybe I’ll just wait till people start trading them in.

Thanks for the advice guys

80k?! Hell nah, try mid-low 60's (almost the same price as a new hellcat). these have pretty low miles too. Could probably talk em down a bit.
