Did you make sure the Realtek driver you’re trying to use is compatible with your model of headphones? Best place to get a driver is from the hardware manufacturer’s site.

its cloud hyperx 1

its deffo compatible, like any issues on google is only mic related

my friends cloud hyperx 2 working fine on realtek driver on my pc but its USB headset, mine isnt

so it must be something wrong with my sound card but why would it work with microsoft and not realtek i just dont get it

i get same issue whenever i install driver from realtek site direct or from my mobo site which is also realtek driver (MOBO is maximus hero vi) in case you wandering

when you install the realtek driver are you using it from their site?
mobo site?
cd?
windows update?

after it installs do you check the balance in windows and in realtek?

i have tried from both, from realtek site and from my mobo site

after it installs i simply go on youtube and listen to one of the left/right sound test videos and one ear always louder than the other

if i install realtek driver from mobo site i get all nice realtek HD management stuff where i can also test left/right sound and its always one louder than the other

once i uninstall realtek driver i automatically get driver from Microsoft which works, both ears sound same

windows update one?

are you checking to see if those drivers and software has the left/right balance corrected?
