Mustangs are definitely low standards. And I'm a genuine enthusiast. Probably up there with Honda as one of the most hated cars in the car scene, aside from their own fans of course. What is your goal to get out of the car? Need to know about that before I can suggest the 100s of convertibles that have been made.

Mostly just cruise at night, blow off steam on shitty days. No real Mods, prefer looks. Want good acceleration. Im the d-bag who likes straight pipes. Something to simply drop the top, and cruise 0-60 around town. Want some reliability (which is why Im scared of the F-Types)

Mustangs would be the most practical. Not expensive, fun, and pretty reliable compared to Jaguar/BMW.

I wouldn't recommend the 370Z solely because resale is god awful.

Reliable compared to bmw. Like any brand they have their fans but ford is literally one of the most hated brand by auto enthusiasts. Mustangs drive like garbage. And bmw has more awards for their cars then any brand any history. So reliability isn’t an issue unless you don’t maintain it.

True except to maintain a mustang, its $500 a year? While the BWM averages $2500 a year. So to me, I dont see the Mustang have $6000 in repairs over 4 years I might keep it that the BWM is that much better in maintenance/reliability
