A billion protective masks have been ordered by France from China, informed this March 28 France Info citing the Directorate General of Health.
In order to route them to France, an air bridge will be set up between the two countries with 56 rotations. Air France confirmed its participation without giving further details.
As the source specifies, each flight will transfer 18.3 million masks, including more than 74 million FFP2. They are currently in China, in the cities of Shenzhen and Shanghai. In 48 hours, they will reach French soil.
