Got a lot of catching up to do. Sounds like this show is actually getting interesting now, so I think it's time to get back on the train. I quit somewhere in the 3rd season, or maybe I finished it, I don't even know. I'm rewatching S3 now and a lot of shit seems familiar, but I'm seeing some details throughout I don't remember at all.

when i first saw the Cinnabon scenes, I got the impression that they took place quite far in the future (years)

However, as more details came together, I'm not sure he's been there very long. And if Gene has been working at Cinnabon for 5 months or less, than that means Walt is still alive during the S5E1 Gene scene.

S2 was not very good, but things have only been getting better since then.

Very tense episode.

It's weird because on the one hand, we already know everything that's going to happen, at least from a big picture standpoint.

Saul gets dragged into being a lawyer for drug lords. K8 becomes an informant for Hank. Gus goes to war with the Salamancas.

Even though we knew these plot points would happen, throwing in that extra mystery spice of Kim+Nacho makes me really interested in the details of how things are playing out.

The episode felt slow-moving at times, but maybe it was just because I already knew what each scene was going to be about.

indeed. it looks out of place for Mike to play a character that is so much younger than the actor. They hide it the best they can, but it's noticeable.

I think they did that scene on purpose, where Mike beats up bullies, just to remind us that Mike still got it lol
