What are your goals? It can be a great workout if you play intensely (cardio) or if you play for a long time (fat loss). I'm biased because I've put more hours into bball than most people in here have breathed ;)

Also HI GUYS! It's been forever. I don't lift for bball performance anyway btw. Gettin' aesthetic now!!:O

Bball is very good cardio, especially because I cant stand running aimlessly, pun intended. If your lifting weights at the gym, its a good supplement to your workout regime.

It depends on your goal freak. If you want to lose some weight and get in some cardio. Basketball is great. If you want to get back into shape and get your legs moving again...basketball is great. lol.
If you're bulking like a freak then you might want to play lazy pick up ball. I used to play pick up ball to cut. You can get lost in those games for hours lol.
