I can buy a prebuilt with 17-3770, 8gb ram and 500gb HD for less than 200.

I would have to replace my mobo/cpu and possibly ram in current build.

Thoughts? Options in same range?

Current build

Was leaning hard toward the i7-3770 prebuilt but then I started looking at the ryzen 3 3200G

Just so many options. I use for surfing, agar.io and d2. Occasional YouTube. 27 led ips 1080p monitor

Why new instead of rebuild? Or is that what you meant?

So I was looking at this combo. Says that there could be compatability issues between 450 and 3200g. Is this true or no?

Some boards have a bios flash feature that doesn't require a 2nd gen ryzen cpu to update it.
But yes you will have to flash a b450 board to use a 3200G

Was looking at the msi 450 tomahawk Max.

As far as "flashing" the bios, no idea about that

Also, is the benefit of getting an x570 worth the extra $30-$40?

Was also looking at the msi mpg x570 gaming plus

As long as u buy "max" boards, no need 2x ryzen to update bios for 3x ryzens
