if a barb is good he can just wiggle out of a MBsin and eventually stick hits that even without a PDR build either the sin will be forced to use up so much mana teleporting that she runs out of 16 slots before he's dead, or he lands 1 good whirl and ends it
even without a good barb, its still 3+ minutes of holding down mind blast and resetting vs wsg
I want to believe there's some crazy setup where you bm prebuff venom and then use deaths web + facet monarch swap and achieve ~1k hp guided arrow swap hits after -resists. But that's so very very risky because going low fcr and not holding down mind blast on a sin who now has 8 dr and 0 block is truly suicidal.
but it all begs the question of why the fuck you'd bother in the first place.
Why should other enemy bowazons try to duel my damach zon who can sit afk in their attacks for a few minutes without dying, but kill them in 1 hit? Why should ghosts duel barbs who whirl with far higher damage, defense, life and attack range, and can be higher block if they want? Why should BvC's duel BvB's for that matter? My advice to BvC's who encounter a BvB was always to just either ignore them, or if they get pesky, slap on a lacerator swap + widowmaker + clegs gloves + grief venom proc setup and convince the barb to go elsewhere. A sin can do the same, even if she can't kill a barb. And just spamming mind blast is enough to get a barb to stop trying, even if he won't die.
there was a retard on eu with pretty much perf ghost and boring af prebuff (barb bo - ench sorc - town dru - aura pala)
basically after 3-4 minutes preparation the assa fleed against decent barbs.
it's true that assa won against a lot of characters tho
