The Ancient Reliquary gives a Relic item in its "legacy" version, unique items that had their modifiers adjusted in power or removed from normal drops through patches. These versions retain their original balances values, whether if it's weaker or stronger than its current version, thereby sometimes holding greater value if they had better stats.[1] Using a
Divine Orb on these Relics rerolls its values to be within range of the unique's current stats, while retaining its Relic status. However, certain features of the Relic cannot be rerolled, such as base item type.[2]
The Timeworn Reliquary gives a Relic version of a league-specific unique item (not including items from Delve and later challenge leagues), which uses its current balance values.
