Friend asked for help. Here’s what he mentioned for usage and here’s what I came up with. Gave him 2 options for his range.

Any suggestions or something I’m missing?

Budget: $800-$1200
More specific use (what games, what programs): gaming, Apex Legends, PUBG, Warcraft Reforged
Planned time until purchase: 1 week- 1 month
Do you need an Operating System?: See if I can find. Assume Windows 10 Home
Do you have any specific preferred components?: Ability to hit a 120hz refresh and decent FPS
Do you need a sound or wireless card?: No
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?: Stock. Wonder how much I can OC on stock cooling?
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?: Yes. Mouse/Keyboard probably a Razor. Future 144hz monitor (Acer Nitro)
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs): Amazon prime most of it from the looks of it.

Top budget one is fine for wanting to hit 120fps. The mid budget one wont clear 100 in triple A titles.
Get a gold power supply though.

Amazon usually has some good deals for renewed Corsair TXM units.
Think they have some renewed TX650M units for around 60 USD right now.

/E That case has bad airflow too. Im not sure if thats the fractal one where they have the double mesh but I've heard some of their cases have ambient air issues.
Just my two cents there.
