Recently had to upgrade over 30 laptops in my office to win 10 before the deadline. At the same time I've been cleaning / cloning hdd's with dad's I received from a shipping error.

I've been seeing a lot of msata / minipci ports empty on these things that I didn't know they even had.

Is there software that can identify all the possible connectors a laptop has ?

Similar how cpu-z will see how many ram slots are available and if they have chips installed?

On 30+ various models and age variations of latitudes this becomes.. ineffective.

I'd rather write into my initial deployment image to install it ( or run portable) grab the export and review later.

With Dell you need to enter services tag for each, download 3-9mb service manual &or spec guide and search. Plus they didn't have great writers 2012-2015. I.e. They just call it sata 3.0 which says nothing about it's form factor

If I find something I'll share
