Hello.
I have a question.
I have ASUS ROG GL503 with originally HDD installed and i would like to upgrade it by M2 SSD 1 TB.
Does anyone know it this laptop can handle with such M2 SDD volume disk?
Only info i have from ASUS support is that original SDD discs assembled in those laptops were 256GB max.
Dont want to spend money if SDD wont work properly.

If someone has any knowledge or experience in this area please support :)

As long as it’s the same form factor and format as the old ssd, it should work regardless of size. Only memory amount that a mobo can limit is ram memory.

I would check what format and form factor your current ssd is and just make sure your new one is the same.

My laptop has only HDD (installed originally) and free M2 slot for SDD. ASUS was selling those laptops with max 256GB SDD on M2 slot. Thats too small volume.
So i guess i need to risk, maybe it will work.

any size m.2 2280 NVMe pcie 3.0 x4 should work for your laptop :thumbsup:
