i pre ordered the story of kakarot game thinking i would have to come home from work and download it but apparently it was already installed when i turned my console on. anyone know how this is possible? the game starts off at 34 gb without patch which would take some time to download which i never did.

There is a setting in console settings > system > updates & downloads > keep console up to date & keep games & apps up to date (also allow remote installations)

yea i just read something saying it can even download while off?

only if it's "asleep"

depends on your power settings.

basically, if you press the power button when it's "off" and it comes right up immediately, it was actually just asleep.

if it has a load screen where it shows the processor and everything, it was actually powered off.


the xbox can't download stuff if it's completely off. only if it's asleep and that setting is activated.

ah ok makes sense i was gonna be amazed if it could operate while off lol. must of been dl in background without me knowing while i was playing another game.
