I rather new here and wanted to ask about the Diablo 2 Lvling services.

I have seen alot of post about lvling services and wanted to ask, how is it done?

here an example

You make the char and the acc and give the password to the user that does level service. When it is done, he contact to you and he leave the char and you pay, or you pay and he leave the char.

What your suggesting is illegal.
Fact is almost ALL jobs are done the way you stated but there is risk in doing it as such and since staff can't prove things one way or another they just let it slide.
The job should currently be done with you on the acc only and following them through chaos/baal/cows etc.

assuming the 2 illegal traders keep their private-messages where its shown that one has given acc+pw to another, wouldnt this be a sufficient proof?
can staff people read private-messages? if so that would be really easy to prove and punish

how does one prove account closure due to account sharing down the road?
who takes the fall when several people have done jobs?

i have thought of it like that:

trader A creates a topic, asking for a level service.
trader B posts in this topic offering a level service to A.
A accepts B's offer and tells B about it via pm.
B asks A for acc+pw so A gives B acc+pw.

i know the staff cannot prove that B has logged into A's account
but were really none of the d2jsp rules broken at the point where
A gave access / account-login-information to B ?

The rules have been broken be it in thread or by pm as its clear at this time that on account services are illegal.

Diablo 2 on account services are now legal once more and we will not take any action against people offering those services.

It's important to note: Account trades and account name trades are still NOT allowed and considered illegal.
