Is this viable in any way? Tempted to make one. Any ideas on stats/gear? I got a decent pelt atm and got a ammy somewhere but, weapon and such I need help with. 2 hand or 1 hander?

Definitely viable for Level 30.
You'll want to use a 1 Hand with Shield unless 1v1 Casters then 2 Hand for added range.
You may also want to consider a Pelt that also adds +Fury for finishing people at 1 Hp.

You are correct but still you my want as 2nd skill after applying Rabies.

You want to run away and rep life, rabies kills in 2-3 bites... just get 60rep and l8z... only way to play.
