Embiid literally said in a Rachel Nichols interview he was done with trash talking, then he did it literally a week later.

I bet he doesn't finish this season without being back to his usual self.

I like the trash talk personally, he gets in opponents heads and ends up owning them as a result. Look at Andre Drummond, Embiid was all up in his head and has owned him most of his career as a result.

I mean sometimes he has to take a step back and not do it as much, but the NBA needs that competitive gritty mentality. Guys in the 80's and 90's would talk MAJOR shit each and every game, we just didn't have the technology we do now to pick up on all of it and there was no social media.

He did a solid job of limiting what he could do, but the majority of the credit goes to the Celtics great defensive scheme knowing when to double practically every play and HOW. Very strong defensive scheme as a team that put Embiid in check for the most part.

Now Gasol, i'll give him more credit with slowing Embiid 1 on 1 though. He still got help too, but not as much.

Hopefully he means if , If he stops being a fucking clown and focuses on his body and getting better I’ll be glad if he wins a chip.
