in my opinion the only thing that is keeping d2 alive after all those years is GAMBLING .. peopl2 LOVE to gamble .. anywhere anytime ... no matter if is it for a perfect runeword or some crafting .. or even gambling on unid items .. etc ... they just want to GAMBLE ... and its simple because gamble its fun .... so imo , i think d4 should have something like a trading platform in order to make some safe way of trading unid items whit GOLD and another platform for trading whit REAL MONEY but the last one whit standard prices ( no problem if sometimes can be offers or discounts ) , so items whit same stats should be priced iqual.

If you think about it, even killing stuff is gambling. Each time you kill a Fallen or a Doom Knight or a Venom Lord or Diablo or Mephisto you're constantly rolling an RNG wheel of a specific loot table to see what will drop. That's a part of why it was so great. D3 was a failure because it rained 50 legendaries in 1 rift and you couldn't even trade what you got, and all the monsters had the same drop table for everything.
