I did 1 for someone about 7 years ago, built myself a computer 2 years ago and gave it to my brother (cheaper, rtx 2070/ryzen 5 2600x) now it's time for myself, its gotta be a beast!

I was looking at hard tubing with clear liquid just to be able to see the rgb and not ne stuck on 1 color.
Is there any benefit to metal tubing vs hard plastic besides possibly little better cooling performance?

My fathers friend actually does the cables so once I get everything measured out and the color scheme I want on the cables then he'll do it for me.

Most definitely I have the majority of what I need just because of my job, only thing I'll need to really pick up is the tools used for bending the hard plastic tubing.

There's no performance boost from metal tubing I found.
The system will stable out after while at same temps.

Ok awesome, yeah then I'll stick with my hard plastic.

Any suggestions on monitors? I read about the 360 hz asus monitor that is coming out, but not 100% on wanting 1080p after all of it.

I'm not up to date on monitors, I still have zero issues with my 3x 1080p 60hz.
I would assume anything 2k ips 144 hz is enough.
After 144hz it depends on the person a lot. some can't even notice 144-240hz.

I'll just keep an eye out, seen a few I like but not sure exactly how many I want yet I know 2 for sure but have wanted a 3rd just to try out the racing on monitors (I still have my vr / racing sim setup) so still deciding if it's even worth it to add a 3rd.

Asus/corsair because I read that you'll be able to control all rgb with icue because of them partnering up, I could be wrong but swear I read it lol.

1000d because I plan on 2 systems in this beast, main for gaming/work station and second system for streaming / whatever really. More for fun to add a second just because it allows it. And it has a lot of space so running a dual pump/res setup I figured it would give me the most room. But I am absolutely open to suggestions as I have not started purchasing anything yet.

Yes, my fathers friend can make me custom cables and sleeve them to what ever color scheme I end up going with.

I'll definitely watch for more monitors that are coming out.
