Hello, I have started to notice that when playing fortnite, and not having any other applications open (other than discord), that my cpu usage is very high. I used to be able to run the game at a crisp 240 fps, but I have been starting to get frame drops and I think that it is because of my high CPU usage. I bought a new cooler because I thought that it might have been the issue and the system sat around 40% cpu usage when running fortnite for a few weeks before it shot back up to 100% cpu usage. My current configuration is an i5-6600k OC to 4GHz and a 1070. I don't think that my PC should have any issues running fortnite as it was running smooth the other day. I have attached screenshots of some PC tracking software to help figure out the issue. I also notice that fortnite is only using 3Gb of memory, is this normal? My pc has 16Gb of RAM.

you do have 16gb ram. fortnight is only using 3gb of that.

it could be a number of things, but it's difficult to tell much with what's posted. the pics give me an idea, but not much other than that.
if you are able to, look up CPUID and get the HWMonitor. run fortnight, alt+tab, and take a picture of HWMonitor running. focus on all of the CPU stuff.

Check that the game is using your graphics card and not "integrated graphics".
