Go get a job at a Denny's in your area (if they have one near you) 1/2 the work force only speaks Spanish.

Canada doesn't have as large of a Latino/Latina population.

1. Check out pimsleur spanish at your local library. It's the only program I could recommend. It's completely auditory and u can pop the CDs in your car on your way to work.
2. Buy a decent frequency dictionary online. There's a good series on amazon right now I forget the name. Make flashcards and go slow and steady.
3. Familiarize yourself with grammar concepts and verb conjugation. (Not really that hard, spanish is close to english family-wise)
4. Get a spanish gf or find someone you can practice with all the time. (There are many language exchange apps available for free on your phone. i.e. speaky) it's important that you are practicing speaking it vocally and listening to it.

These are pro tips. If I was told this from the beginning I'd be way ahead of where I am now. GL with your language acquisition!
