We can go further and test hardware but I'm at the point where I feel its safe to assume its just the shit AMD drivers.
If you wish to test hardware let me know if not then wait it out and hope new drivers fix it.
you will have to do the same DDU steps with new drivers when that time comes.

yeah... I think its safe to believing it too...

but your first suggestion did reduce the amount of crashes by ALOT, so thank you for that

i also have 5700XT

first time builder here and GPU overheating AND/OR XMP in bios overclocking RAM were causing me to constantly crash..

They call it a "fan curve". The 5700XT gets hot right away, I watched in awe as I was playing with the fan settings and saw my temps go down dramatically. You should have the latest version of AMD Radeon Software for the GPU.

go to "Performance"

go to "tuning"

ENABLE "Fan Tuning" + "Advanced Tuning"

(you now have access to the 5 fan curve settings. Originally, or at least mine would only go to 65% fan speed and that was not until reaching above 80c....SO STUPID!!!!)

I set that shit to 100% fan speed at 60c minimum and now I have yet to crash. I just need to find a way to make this stupid program save my fan curve settings, it will reset constantly on its own. You will need to keep checking it upon booting.....anoyying but will save you the overheating. Im still looking into programs that save fan tuning settings myself, that was my next step.

If you are not enabling XMP in bios, then you shouldnt have to worry about that one. I was having memory crashes as well, which stopped after disabling XMP in bios.

So just an update; not to jynx it or anything, but for the past 2 weeks, it has not happened at all. BUT I always have to turn on all 3 monitors before turning on my PC; otherwise it would cause the problem and I would have to restart my computer VIA power button
