My wife and I are both going to have our "slow season" for work in late April thru mid-May. Thus, we gonna take 6-10 days to go to Spain and Portugal since neither of us have ever been. Neither of us speak anything but English, but hey we'll survive.

Interests: Good food, good culture, nice people, walking around.
Non-Interests: Beaches, night clubs.

These are the cities that are potentially on our list, though we're open to others. We can likely only fit in 3 or 4 cities total. Which are MUST HIT cities and which can we pass on? Lisbon, Porto, Madrid, Barcelona, Mallorca, Valencia, Seville and whatever else you think is a "must hit" though I hear Ibiza is ridiculously overrated.

Thanks friends!!

You can come to Zaragoza. It's in between Madrid and Barcelona, with nice high speed train to go to each of them. You must come here to eat "ternasco de Aragón", and see El Pilar, La Seo, La Alfajeria and we have nice roman ruins too

But i must tell you that you will have some fun without speaking spanish, FEW people talk english in Spain.

If you want to visit Valencia I recomend you: Train Station ( Estación del nord), mercado central, mercado de Colón, la lonja, el micalet, Albufera, city of arts and ciencie, the park of hospital, etc
