completely retcon the recent trilogy out of existence and just adapt the Timothy Zahn novels into the canon sequels

I don't really agree with all these ideas, but some of the things he said made me think:

Yoda being gay would actually be a very small leap to make. Think about it this way:

He's the head of a secretive religious organization. The only recruits it accepts are very young children (Yoda said that 10 year old Anakin was "too old"). The cult forbids its members from pursuing outside romantic connections. Stop me when this is starting to sound like another organization that we know has gotten famous for illicit homosexual activity.
