So I am building a new pc and want rgb fans, specifically the LL120s to match the h100i rgb platinum. (Upgrading from 3570k /1070ti)

My question is that can I use my motherboard's rgb controller (mpg x570 gaming edge wifi) to control all the rgb fans on the aoi and case fans? Or do I have to use the included light mode pro? Do I have to buy a commander pro as well?

Build - https://pcpartpicker.com/list/kXsb27

Still waiting for the case!!

Mystic light/Rgb fusion/ and corsair.

First off you should of used parts that are compatible with at least 2 softwares.
Msi GFX and mobo with mystic lights.
Corsair all the rest with the ICUE.

But eh you will have 3 software to control your rgb's.

For your corsair Fans/ram and maybe AIO you will need the ICUE controller. You must get the Commander Pro controller so you can use the software, otherwise with the hub only you have limited light options

The ideal parts you should of used for best synchronization is mobo/gfx of the same brand with mystic lights for msi, Aura for asus or RGB fusion for gigabyte and use Trident Z rams because they are compatible with all these rgb software.

Also would of got the corsair Cases, comes with the wanted rgb fans already.

Damn, I should have thought it before I purchased everything. I wanted to get matching mobo/gfx but the msi had better reviews on Amazon. Well I have until jan31 to try it out. Right now I'm using stock case fans until I can sort out what I need for the ll120s.

Quick question, is it ok to run the built in fan hub into the pump_fan header? I need an extension to reach the fan headers.

As of right now, here's how it looks

I gave up on cable management....

Build is looking good man! :D

I don't think you can use the motherboard software to run the fans but you definitely don't need the commander pro. I have the same fan set and aio in my pc and all I used was the rgb controller and lighting node that came with the kit

eh, this build favors rgb over performance.
Could easily do 2080super + AMD Ryzen 9 3900X for less just not rgb.

I still have time to return everything through Amazon, what can I swap out? I already returned the ll20s

Here's how it looks.
