Summon Druid allows you to use your bear to tank a lot of stuff.. also summon nec if you want to run around

souls and cold enchanted mobs can fuck you up tho

my nec went from 940 -> 70hp from cold ench boss lol

i disagree. take chances. get to level 85+ and live dangerously. Only after several high level deaths can you truly understand the glory of hardcore.

High res, sorb & DR. Damage should be one of your last concerns when considering gear as your first character.

Pay attention to mob enchantments. Fire enchant without fire sorb/dr = get the fuck away when he pops. Same with cold and cold sorb. A general strategy is to run WWs, infernos, or spurs w/ 1 dwarf 1 raven and tgods for good tri-sorb.

Don't trust TPs as i saw someone mention - get a group you are comfortable playing with.

As for class, Sorc for ease of access, but squishy. Hdin/Java you literally can't go wrong with.
