Can someone explain in detail how this thing works..

Some things I'd like to know:

1. If I buy someone a game, will they get it right away?

2. How does the "giftcard" work

3. If they don't get w/e I buy right away, will I have to wait for my FG, will there be a mod involved?

4. What is the current ratio that people are paying?

5. Some other useful information that could be good to know..

/edit I see that people write "us" or "eu", I am from EU so does that mean I cannot make deals with people from US? Why do people write this..

2. It's just another item in the steam store. Search for "steam gift card"
3. It's not required to use a moderator but you/they can always request one.
4. It's generally 100:1 ratio (fg:price of game in USD)
5. Steam Trading Rules

/e: Some games are region locked and cannot be traded/gifted across regions. Look in the game's info to see if it is region locked.
